Thursday night’s Intensive class will be held down the hall from the regular meeting place (the Charlottesville Tango Studio is booked for a regular event). Instead, Thursday’s class will be held in the SilverThorn Films studio space. SilverThorn is in the same building and on the same level as the Tango Studio. The final Intensive class will be held, in addition to classes on Tu and Thurs, this Friday prior to the milonga.

A small sampling of material for those that have just started out dancing or have been dancing for a little while and would like to expand their ideas and understanding of what tango is about. It is specifically geared towards getting people up and social dancing quickly and at the same time refining what you already know! This core foundational study is all about core motion and movement and the application there in, then putting it to use.

The Intensive
The intensive is what it says – intensive! Classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday evening for a total of 5 hours per week, open by registration only, no drop-ins. In accordance (and to give a little rest to our weary feet), Charlottesville Tango’s regular Tuesday night class series are cancelled for April. They will resume again in May.

Weren’t able to register for the Intensive? No problem! There are plenty of opportunities to dance!

Specialty Topic Workshops – Saturday 4/14 and 4/21!
Miles will offer 4 workshops, 2 hours each, over the course of 2 Saturdays that focus on individual specialty topics. $25.00 per workshop; discounted price if you registered for the intensive.
