John began teaching dance professionally in 2001. In 2003, John met Cara and began dancing Tango. They studied intensively in Buenos Aires for five months. Some of their favorite teachers include; Gustavo Naveira and Giselle Anne, Luciana Valle and El Motivo, Homer and Cristina Ladas, Alex Krebs, and Pablo Veron. They believe that tango is not a series patterns to be memorized but instead a dynamic connection between partners. John and Cara are committed to creating a positive class environment where students can find their own creative style.

Marcel Utz – on sabbatical

Marcel has been dancing Argentine Tango since 2005. He emphasizes a classical, clean style, good posture, musicality, and a comfortable, solid connection. He takes regular trips to Buenos Aires to dance and learn, and has worked with a number of tango masters, including Maria del Carmen and Jorge Dispari, Rosalia and Alejandro Barrientos, Gustavo Naveira and Giselle Anne, and Omar Vega.
